Speed Service was at Capital Cars & Classics!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Amsterdam\u2019s trendiest district, on the site where ship engines were once built, stands the Kromhouthal; this 3,500 m\u00b2 raw industrial venue provides the perfect setting for classic cars. The light and atmosphere of the Kromhouthal show the cars off to their best advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is CC&C? It is the quintessential classic car show in the heart of the Netherlands, a high-calibre event of international standing where, over two days, you\u2019ll find the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me of the motoring world in a perfect industrial setting in Amsterdam. Both tastefully selected classic cars and modern classics will take centre stage as the main theme. This small-scale event was organised for the first time this year but has all the makings of eventually being mentioned in the same breath as European events such as Techno Classica and Retromobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speed Service was, of course, there, showcasing these three beauties:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have recently carried out a full restoration on this Porsche. We have replaced every part<\/p>\n\n\n\n

or restored. Furthermore, the restoration was carried out with an eye for detail and originality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Speed Service 964 backdate, MADSTER<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the American Singer, we have created this unique backdate for a client<\/p>\n\n\n\n

built. To give an idea of the many modifications we have made,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is a list:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Front and rear mudguards, made entirely of steel, have been widened, lengthened and re-welded to match the old model,
\u2013 Front and rear bumpers, custom-designed and made from polyester,
\u2013 Rear spoiler, our own design with a homemade aluminium grille,
\u2013 Customised tubes, sub-tubes and internal screens,
\u2013 Carbon roof,
\u2013 Entire suspension system coated and fitted with new bearings etc.,
\u2013 Brake calipers in the same colour as the striping,
\u2013 Bilstein suspension,
\u2013 Three-piece 17-inch Fuchs alloy wheels,
\u2013 Interior fully upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara, with red stitching,
\u2013 Original turbo seats fitted with old-style headrests, name embroidered on the seats,
\u2013 Modified centre console and wiring harness,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Original clocks fitted with special dials in an antique style, including the \u2018MADSTER\u2019 inscription,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Door panels with modified old-style door frames,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Custom-built exhaust system with GT3-style centre-mounted tailpipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there are plenty more modifications that the connoisseur is sure to spot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
