Porsche 911 S short-wheelbase
Together with a customer, we set out to find an old 911, preferably a short-wheelbase model.
In Germany, we found an original 1967 S model. As a great deal of work had been carried out on this Porsche over the years, the price was below market value. He wanted to restore this rare classic to as original a condition as possible. After a complete strip-down, it became apparent that a great deal of very poor-quality welding had been carried out in the past. To get a clear picture of the situation, the entire bodywork was sandblasted and then coated with epoxy primer. We then began the search for original body panels – not always an easy task! We even had to buy another body, which served partly as a source of original parts. After all the welding work, we painted, reassembled and delivered the Porsche ourselves.
