The restoration workshop
All Porsches are thoroughly overhauled here. This workshop has its own paint booth, straightening bench and a separate panel beating and welding area.

What began as a childhood passion for the brand, nurtured in the shed at his parents’ house, soon grew into a renowned business. Having tinkered with cars from a young age, Olav Gelissen (director/owner) opened the doors of Speed Service, the leading Porsche 911 specialist, on 1 June 1999 — initially in Hoensbroek, but soon moved to larger premises at Tramweg 14 in Born.
In 2008, Olav Gelissen joined forces with his wife Marjolein Gelissen-Leijten (executive manager), and they purchased new premises at Tramweg 6 in Born. The team then expanded steadily to include Leon Akkermans (car mechanic), Bjorn Bremen (panel beater/painter) and Richard Vonk (panel beater/painter). Following several expansions at the site, we reached maximum capacity here too.
Our historic Carré farmstead
In February 2015, we acquired a listed Limburg carré farmhouse in Sittard. After two years of renovation, extension work and commuting between the two premises, we opened our doors here in 2017 — joined by Harrie Zeelen (car mechanic/electrician) and Carl van Kesteren (servicing technician).
Our team now comprises seven passionate, experienced professionals with an eye for detail and a healthy dose of perfectionism. Complemented by our historic premises — which, in terms of appearance and character, are a perfect match for classic air-cooled Porsches — we continue to strive for perfection.
Porsche Perfection
We’re also the right choice for bespoke projects. By this we mean projects that are entirely tailor-made for the customer, whether it’s a specific colour scheme, interior or power output: almost nothing is too crazy for us.
We also build unique 964 Backdates, known as Madsters, which are now on the road all over the world. We have already supplied some stunning Madsters to clients in Austria, Malaysia, England and the United States, amongst other places.
